Dottie Lessard carried the Olympic Torch for the Sydney Games through Boston, was featured on HBO Real Sports, named one of Boston's Most Inspirational Women, Runners World Presented her with the "Heroes of Running Award",  and she is a mulit-gold medalist from the U.S. Transplant Games.
